It looks like the fraudsters at Havering Council just go on and on and on! As the Council boasts about how they harass parents trying to help their kids get into a good school they are also forced finally to expose the extent of fraud by their own staff.
Council staff caught on the fiddle will be hoping to be defended by fraud expert and local UNISON branch boss Marsha Jane Thompson – but she may be too busy supporting Heather Wakefield in her campaign to become General Secretary of UNISON.
Thompson, who doesn’t seem to have got a job from the new Labour Leader in spite of abandoning Havering workers for weeks to help his campaign, may now be hoping that Wakefield will get the job of running UNISON and will reward her supporter from Havering.
So the Council workers caught up in the fraud investigation may be on their own!
